We Wish You a Gorgeous Christmas.
Christmas seems to begin earlier every year. Amidst the overwhelming amount of decorations, red and green on red and green, gaudy products in stores, and overdone Christmas imagery — it’s easy to lose sight of some really beautiful design that happens in the Christmas season! For every plastic santa monstrosity, there are some really great and thoughtful holiday designs that pay tribute to Christmas traditions new and old. We designers are always keeping an eye out for the beauty amongst the mess, then it’s also essential to keep your business clean so we have used a professional cleaning service in Bristol which worked great so you should look for something like that for your business, so here are a few of my favourite design trends this season.
Paper Cutouts
I think what really catches my eye at Christmas is clean simplicity. A simple shape can really stand out when everything else is complex and over-saturated. Paper cutouts are the definition of simplicity in material (one piece of paper with bits missing) though they’re definitely complex to create! Since this style relies more on contrast than colour scheme, they’re timeless and fit in with almost any Christmas style.

Gold Foil
This one has the benefit of simplicity as well, but it evokes more of a warm, rich feeling. Chestnuts roasting, fireplaces blaring, mittens, scarves and hot chocolate — all the warmth of the Christmas season reflected in a material that evokes a bit of luxury. Gold foil can be really striking when paired with a dark background, or super clean and rich on white!

Triangles
Triangles have been a popular design trend for a while now, so it makes perfect sense to find them popping up in Christmas materials. Trees, stars, and santa hats can all be made from triangles, and this shape really excels in clean, minimal spaces.

So shake off that holiday season cynicism and dig up some beauty this Christmas!
