‘Sup, friends? Dc here! Soooo where has the time even gone? Sure, September’s almost over– but no fear, ‘cause that means just one thing: it’s time for the Wreckhouse International Jazz and Blues Festival!
Fall for jazz
We’ve been fallin’ for Wreckhouse for a few killer seasons now, and there’s no wonder why. Wreckhouse is a non-profit arts organization in our fair city that has been SLAYING our music scene and its jazz and blues lovers for over fifteen years.
Now, it takes an army of dedicated volunteers each and every year to shine a light on the jazz and blues community in our province. Our team loves that sweet Wreckhouse community spirit (it’s what we’re all about), so we couldn’t be happier to be involved with the festival again this year!
Backstage
From September 21-24, cool jazz artists will be gracing stages throughout St. John’s. But between all the volunteers and sponsors, a lot has gone on behind the curtains to make this shindig happen.
Us over @ Dc HQ are a behind the scenes crowd. Backstage, we’ve put a ton of effort (Wreckhouse force winds amount of effort!) into making this year’s festival the best ever, starting with building on the beautiful fall-themed branding we kicked off two years ago. Nothing says September like orange and goldenrod, amiright? It looks deadly!
