Dc Design House is one of the fastest growing marketing firms in the province and we’re looking for a production artist to add a little sparkle to everything we do.
If you hate bad design and know how to use all the Adobe tools under the sun, we want you to come hang out with us eight hours a day, five days a week. You’ll get to work on big exciting campaigns and drive creative projects we know you’ll love, in return we’ll give you a paycheque and even have cake on your birthday!
All the specifics
Developing concepts – through research and creative thinking – to achieve client goals.
Following identified process, including providing accurate time estimates to complete work.
Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or project managers.
Creating artwork for a variety of print, video, and digital output platforms, based on technical specifications.
Proofreading and spell checking to produce accurate and high-quality work.
Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design programs.
Team collaboration with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers, and marketing specialists.
Other duties as required.
Mad Skills
Diploma in graphic design, fine arts, digital arts, or some combination of education and experience.
Awareness and use of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, InDesign AfterEffects, etc.
Comfortable to progressive knowledge of web, motion media, and all typical graphic design, development and software tools.
Possess analytical and critical thinking skills.
Time management skills; confident in the ability to meet tight and short deadlines.
Flexibility, an eagerness to learn, and an excitement for the industry.
Detail oriented and organized.
