I’m basically a child.
No matter what’s going on inside my head while driving east on LeMarchant Road, as soon as I catch a glimpse at the broad side of the Nova Yoga studio, I see The Coast 101.1 FM billboard – a stupid smile crosses my face.
The design challenge itself was a great one: to take the rock and pop heroes from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and feature them with the brand. Direct, I know – but it’s the ‘how’ that sets one design apart from the next.
I was just telling a friend of mine about the rush of seeing something you designed get blown up to life size – or beyond. It’s rewarding to see your work like that.
It’s even better to feel like your creation will connect with people and inspire a feeling about the brand. It’s what every business hopes for: that’ll we’ll take notice of them and show support. Do I even need to start talking about the threat from Great Big Box Stores and our all-time-high need to show support to businesses who live in and give back to our local community?
I didn’t think so 😉
Beyond the billboard, I sometimes see this ad in print. I’m happy the ad that really shows off the spirit of The Coast 101.1 lives on – no matter the size.
