The #WinterBlues are real, y’all. Thankfully we’ve got events like the Mount Pearl Frosty Festival to keep those blahs at bay. Partnering with our friends at the Festival is always a blast – so when they contacted us to rock the designs for the 2019 edition, we were more than happy to oblige! I’ll let Sarah, one of our much loved Project leads, fill you in on all the deets of this year’s festive fun times — take it away, S!
(Almost) Forty Years of Fun
Thanks, Dc! It’s always so great to partner with organizations like Frosty Festival – as a performer, community events that bring people together with food, fun, and music are near and dear to my heart. They’ve been building their community spirit with so many events – from bingo and bowling to theatre with Spirit of Newfoundland, and everything in between – for the past 37 years. Not only do they pull off events galore for their community, this year they’ve partnered with Inclusion NL to make their events as accessible as possible. Way to go, guys!
Getting Down and Design-y
We had so much fun creating designs for this year’s Frosty Festival! We worked on A LOT of cool stuff with the FF gang – direct mail pieces, flyers, posters for their wicked show with The Masterless Men, The Irish Descendants, and The Navigators, banners, appreciation plaques, and oh-so-much more. Digital Delights
In addition to helping Frosty and Friends get their design in order, we helped them keep things up-to-date in the digital space, too! We worked with the FF gang to get their app, website, billboards and Facebook posts ready for another successful festival season. Check it out:
