The gang at DcHQ loves working with not-for-profits that create some serious change in our communities. Over the years, we’ve done tons of work with Young Adult Cancer Canada, who help young adults live with, through, and beyond cancer.
We are so pretty pumped to be involved with their upcoming collaboration in #YYT, Sarah decided to write about it. Tell me somethin’ good, Halliday!
Making a difference
Shave for the Brave is the biggest fundraiser Young Adult Cancer Canada puts off annually. Every year, hundreds of offices, schools, and communities host shave events that raise much-needed funds to support young people living with cancer from coast to coast to coast.
You know the drill: people raise amazing amounts of money for YACC, and then the bravest shave their heads in solidarity with those living with cancer.
Y’all wanted a twist?!
We’ve all had bad haircuts. Well, here’s your chance to get some sweet, sweet revenge…
YACC has teamed up with Fogtown and Quidi Vidi Brewery to put off one epic fundraiser. Featuring beats by Slim Macho and some new, unreleased QV beers, everyone in attendance will be entered to shave the luscious locks off the crowd from Fogtown and Quidi Vidi. How sick is that?!
Don’t delay
Tickets are only $25, which covers a 4-beer flight, snacks, and a chance to shave some Fogtown and QV staff. There are only 120 tickets and they won’t last long, so get yours today!
